From Physics to Pharma: New Tools and Protocols to Maximize Phase I Clinical Trials
IALSN is proud to present Dr. Ali Arjomand, founder of Accium BioSciences. Dr. Arjmand's presentation focuses on Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS) and its application to Phase I clinical development.AMS is an ultrasensitive detection platform originally adopted by archeologist for radiocarbon dating.AMS-based clinical protocols are capable of detecting drugs and metabolites with unprecedented sensitivity.Pharmaceutical companies are increasingly employing AMS-based methods to overcome analytical challenges at the very low end of the detection range (attomoles).
IALSN is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious association dedicated to providing a focused and dynamic forum in which life science professionals can meet, exchange ideas, and build relationships. IALSN was founded in 2006.
