IALSN is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious association dedicated to providing a focused and dynamic forum in which life & medical science professionals can meet, exchange ideas, and build relationships. IALSN was founded in 2006 and we are currently looking to expand our membership in San Diego and Orange County.
Focus on the Life & Medical Science Industry
"Life Sciences" includes companies in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical technologies, life systems technologies, nutraceuticals, food processing, environmental, biomedical devices, and organizations which are involved in the various stages of research, development, technology transfer and commercialization. "Medical Science" is the science of dealing with the maintenance of health and the prevention and treatment of disease.
As evident from the above list, the Life & Medical Science Community is very diverse. However, the above industries all face similar challenges (IP, regulatory, technological, etc) and often work together to accomplish common goals. Therefore, we have limited membership to individuals working in the above industries to provide a rich yet focused environment relevant to the Life Science community.
